The mission of VetSSMART is to improve quality of life for the veterinary profession and those we impact, through carefully considered strategic services. I believe the greatest power we have to accomplish this is to focus on serving the professionals and staff in the veterinary field. It is with great honor and responsibility that by serving my clients, I also have the opportunity to improve the quality of life of any pets I am entrusted with as a result.

Our vision is to explore and innovate multifaceted approaches to improve the world and profession through clinical practice, contribution to research that provides better quality medicine, and coaching and mentorship of individuals in their professional journey in the most compassionate way possible.

The specialty surgeon and sports medicine practice. We are here to serve you as you need to step away from your practice, build it, support it, and care for yourself and loved ones by providing relief and locum services. We consider your clients as our clients. When you need help serving them, it is our honor to act on your behalf. By extension, your patients are our clients. We are deeply committed to the veterinary oath, and as such, the protection of animal health and welfare and prevention and relief of animal suffering is an overarching guiding principle to our practice.

The general practitioner, surgery specialist, and veterinary student are our clients. We provide veterinary surgery coaching services to help you build confidence, skill and optimal outcomes through uniquely trained support and guided self-analysis of your current skillset. We offer RACE-approved CE credit in a unique 1-on-1 learning experience, as well as group, professional skillsets and in person coaching.

The veterinary student, intern and resident are our clients. Our profession is a worthy and powerful gift to the world and each other, and it is in critical need of professional growth, which lies within our successors. We believe that teaching, mentoring and encouraging these individuals is one of the most powerful means of strengthening our profession. We provide this support through research mentorship, specialty study coaching, and tools to advance personal skillsets, as well as academic locum services.

VetSSMART’s values may appear diverse and varied on the surface, but we find them deeply integrated with each other and our clients.
